Vendor Applications for Indigenous Groups and Individuals

Applications for the 2025 Markham Village Music Festival are now open.

In 2023, we introduced three exciting initiatives to engage the community with Indigenous culture and we're proud to continue making space for Indigenous voices. This year, we're excited to introduce:

  • First Nations community round dance for the Friday Night opening

  • Spotlight on Indigenous music, dance, art

  • Indigenous vendors featured in Village Market for the first time! 

The Festival welcomes the participation of a variety of vendors who identify as Indigenous. The Festival screens prospective attendees for suitability. Please complete the entire form and submit it online. An automatic notice of receipt will be sent.The information will be reviewed and a response sent within 10 days. If you are accepted, a Confirmation of Acceptance letter along with information on the schedule, Terms and Conditions will be emailed shortly afterwards.

Please note that the Festival does not provide water or electrical service. If you wish to use a generator, it must be classified as silent as per CSA standard (85 DB(A) at 1m ). The Festival reserves the right to deny the use of a generator if deemed to be a noise nuisance.

Single booth size is 11ft x 10ft. Double is 22ft x 10ft

Display tables, chairs and tents must be supplied and erected/removed by the exhibitor. These may be left in place overnight on Friday. The street is patrolled by security but the Festival assumes no responsibility for any theft or damages which may occur during that time.
