Organized by the Markham Dog Alliance

This dog-friendly section of Markham Village Music Festival is a returning favourite to the festival. Drawing in thousands last year with over 25 vendors, this year we are doubling the size, and are aiming to be York Region’s largest dog-friendly festival. Extending the festival from St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church to Bullock Drive, we will have more than double the dog-related businesses, iconic photo opportunities, DJ, entertainment and more.

About the Markham Dog Alliance

Award winning dog-friendly event planners for 2022 and 2023, Markham Dog Alliance is returning to organize and present Barkham at Markham Village Music Festival. In the past year they have organized over 10 events across the city of Markham, bringing together over 150 local businesses. With an extended social media reach, they have been able to reach guests from as far as Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa, and even Ottawa! Their dog pack being 40% from Markham, and 27% from Toronto – it ensures their events have great turnouts every time.
